Can microneedling (with dermaroller) reverse laser damage? (Photos)

Question

Are these laser damage issue (textural, newly formed indented scars) could be treated w/ microneedling (with dermaroller)? Is it possible just to have the treatment only within the problematic area? would it cause uneven texture & tone with the un-treated surrounding? what would be the worst case scenario with microneedling (with dermaroller) in my case? I am too afraid to get another laser treatments or even dermapen w/ RF due to my past experience even w/ V-Beam laser

Yes, this can be improved with microneedling. I recommend combining microneedling with prp and lasers for best outcomes. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

I am sorry you had a bad experience with your laser treatment. I do not recommend using a dermaroller in order to correct your skin. Microneedling performed by an experienced physician along with PRP will give you good results. In my office I use PRP from the patient's own blood for better results and safety.
