When a second hair transplant is done in the same area as the first one, is there a chance the hairs from the first transplant will fall out during the procedure? Or should they stay intact? Does this depend on the surgeon's techniques?

Answer: Second hair transplant There is always a chance the hair from the first transplant may shed, and if it does it is very likely to grow back. Surgeons should be meticulous about placing the second round of grafts between the existing hair, however, so it is somewhat technique dependent. Even with perfect technique however, that can still be a risk. Good Luck!
