Can I change my belly button position after a tummy tuck?

You have a couple of options. If you still have excess skin, then the tummy tuck could be redone to tighten the skin and float the umbilicus down a short distance. Another option is to simple excise your old belly button and closing that scar to be part of the old FDL scar. Then your surgeon could create a new belly button at the requested site. A bit more scarring but these neo belly buttons can look very good. Good luck.

If you have already have a Fleur de Lis incision, then your belly button should be able to be repositioned without requiring a redo of the entire operation. This will require opening up the part just around the belly button and lowering it to a better position. Hope this helps!
