The surgeon looked at the lump that has formed, and says because I bled a lot and he had to cauterize that it is probably still blood accumulation. The lump is almost as big as my lipoma was. It is tender and sore to the touch, still. Can the lump be due to tissue from being cauterized? It seems weird that it has not gone down. It was flat for 2 days after the surgery. Concerned I may still have a lump!!! Doctor said to wait a little longer-no need to drain.
