I want to get both breast implants and a bbl at the same time? I want hips so is that possible?? How would I sleep during recovery?
Answer: Combination of surgeries Dear iransarahai, this is a common combination. But some plastic surgeons may want to split this into two operations depending on the time needed. Its best to see a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine your options and whether it would take too long, more than 4 hours, to do all.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Thank you for your question. I do not recommend getting a breast enlargement with a BBL at the same time for a number of reasons. When performing a breast enlargement one wants to sleep on their back during recovery. If one sleeps on their tummy after breast enlargement this can cause various complications including shoving the implants into the side of the chest. When recovering from a BBL, one wants to sleep on their chest. Sleeping on the buttock will kill all the fat that was grafted to the behind. I hope you find this information useful. Please watch the enclosed video.

Answer: BBL and Breast augmentation Yes it is possible to have both of these procedures at the same time. You can sleep on our back posoperatively but may need to pad the buttock area for comfort. Good luck, Dr. Luong

Answer: Can I get #breastimplants and a #BBL at the same time? Yes, BBL and breast augmentation can be performed simultaneously in properly selected patients, although it can pose a bit of a challenge in the healing process. Most surgeons recommend patients offload the surgical sites with some activity restrictions. Since the breasts are in front and the buttock in back, it is hard to simultaneously protect both areas with positional offloading in the early postop period. Additionally, simultaneous procedures add to the anesthesia time, so it is important to review this with any surgeon with whom you consult. We like to keep operative times to 6 hours or less, which is very doable for the combination you are proposing, but if you start talking about a breast lift, tummy tuck or other add-ons, it may be better to stage procedures.
