Thank you for your questions. If you have healed well from your surgery after 5 weeks you should be fine. Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon and follow his/her recommendations.
Best to run this by your PS. If the wound have healed and then waxing is not an issue - Usually after 6 weeks if everything progressing appropriately waxing should not be an issue.
Most patients can wax at 6 weeks after surgery, but some people heal faster and some slower. Check with your plastic surgeon to find out whether you are healed enough yet.
