A series of chemical peels in combination with a good at home skincare regimen can soften fine lines and wrinkles over time. If you want immediate results, a series of IPL/BBL photofacials will remove pigment/sun damage from your skin and can also stimulate collagen production. You could then follow up with laser resurfacing which will definitely soften or greatly reduce static lines/wrinkles. Since we are constantly receiving UV exposure, you would want to have at least one follow up IPL/BBL treatment every year to stimulate collagen production and treat the sun damage. Of course your first line of defense against aging is UV protection every day. Best wishes.
Chemical peels help speed your skin cell turn over and help improve texture as well as sun damage. There are several peels available on the market all with different benefits. Depending on the severity of the fine lines is what would be best for you. IPL is great for sun damage but will do very minimal for you lines. I would also suggest some cosmetic injectables. They help a lot with smoothing fine lines around the mouth as well. Best-Alex Khadavi M.D.
Chemical peels can soften fine lines. However smile lines are caused by smiling :-), hence by the movement of you mouth. Since you will continue to smile (I hope) the lines will continue to get reinforced over time. Some people get smile lines due loss of facial volume, and they can benefit from filler treatment (e.g. Restylane/Juvederm/Beloreto)

Hello Anna_SkinCare, Thank you for submitting your question. I would wait a week until your skin has healed from the peel. As chemical peels tend to bring all impurities to the surface you may notice a bit more of a break out during this time. Wait 5-7 days and you can then move forward with the...
