I'm getting a TT Lipo and BBL and I have S1-L5 spondylolisthesis. Can fluid build up in my spine?

Spondylolisthesis is spine disorder and BBL and tummy tuck are performed above spine so plastic surgeon don't get in touch with spine at any point during surgery. BBL and TT shouldn't have any effect on your spondylolisthesis. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Being diagnosed with spondylolisthesis between the 5th lumbar and 1st sacral vertebrate should not deter you from having a TT, lipo, and BBL.  The surgeries will not cause fluid build up in your spine, but you should make your PS aware of your diagnosis as he/she may recommend staging the surgeries rather than doing them at one time.

The procedures you're signed up to have are  all soft tissue manipulation's and should not affect anything below the muscle layer which includes your vertebra and your spine.  Personally I like to split these procedures because it's a lot to go through and the recovery is a little daunting.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
