Is $4400 a typical price for Tickle Lipo?

Question

I'm set to get tickle lipo on my inner thighs and love handles, though I'm worried about being ripped off. Most of the reviews I see are of 3 or more areas and they are much cheaper. Usually around 2500, their results are good and most reviews I see for tickle lipo are favorable. I'm not very big nor a difficult patient. I wear a size 4-6 and I'm 5"8. Please advise! Should I get my money back???

Thank you for your question. We perform 6-8 Tickle Liposuction cases a week at my practice in Arizona. Pricing is very dependent on where you live, the experience and credentials of the surgeon, as well as the surgical plan.Because Tickle Lipo is an actual surgery, I would find it skeptical that someone is paying only $2500 for 3 or more areas. I do not handle the pricing for my patients (my manager does), but I do feel that $4400 is not unreasonable. What you want to be sure of is that you have a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, do they include your required compression garment(s) and how much experience the facility has with the procedure. Unfortunately, "you get what you pay for" can be the source of a lot of plastic surgery regret.Rest assured, I have not performed $2500 Tickle Lipo for 3 areas, because our clinic has been offering Tickle Lipo for over 5 years and provide an excellent experience as well as results for the patients.Be cautious of price, but don't let price be the only motivator for choosing your surgeon.Good luck!

Cost varies
by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of
procedure etc.  I would recommend that you go to The American Society of
Plastic Surgery website and look for a list of board certified plastic surgeons
in your area.  You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes
prior to scheduling consultations.

The best way
to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

When it comes to any type of in office liposuction procedure, including Tickle Lipo, the pricing is usually quoted by area and the number of areas to be done at one time.
The per area pricing will vary throughout the country. 
Occasionally, the first area can sometimes be priced as low as $999 to get you in the door, the second area will most often be higher. However, at the majority of offices, the first area is usually the most expensive and additional areas are discounted. Bottomline, the price you were quoted is very average for the areas you want done.
