My BWD is 14cm and my doctor chose Soft touch Moderate 310cc for me(under muscle). However I realized that this implant has a diameter of 12cm. I am scared that the implant will look like a "rock in a large sock" 35yr 2 kids 130 lb 5’5 Will the implant give me a lot of overhanging?

Answer: Breast width measurements Thank you for your question. I have been in practice for over 28 years and a large portion of my practice is dedicated to breast surgery and revision breast surgery. I am currently writing a paper in which I have performed many breast augmentations in which the base diameter is significantly less then the breast width. The outcomes have been excellent in all cases. I think there is way too much emphasis on breast width measurements. With a 310 cc moderate profile implant, you should be able to have an excellent result. Listen to your surgeon. Best wishes to you.

Answer: Mini lift with fat transfers or small implants You photograph is very limited. It appears your breasts are widely separated. You may benefit from a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
