I went in today for a consultation and he used 3D imaging on me and it looks like I have a huge breast gap. Does it look like I have that normally? So after surgery my implants would look this wide apart? (Blue is me now) (Black is the 3D imaging with 235cc)
Answer: Breast Gap I would go see a board-certified plastic surgeon (with plastic surgery residency and aesthetic fellowship training) for another 3D preoperative consultation who also uses tissue-based measurements to properly calculate the ideal implant for your breasts. I believe you might need a lower profile implant. This is hard to determine without seeing a patient in person.

Answer: Breast gap Dear jenifferslifestyle, wide breasts can be improved with the proper placement of implant pocket and right choice of implants. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Pocket control Hi. That is a very understandable concern! While part of your outcome is dependent on your anatomy and it’s important to visualize and realize that, improvements in position and symmetry can be made through careful planning and precise implementation. Your surgeon can dissect the pocket for the breast implant to help bring them closer together, but he or she also has to be careful to avoid symmastia while doing so.

Answer: Breasts Yes, you will still have the gap since this is your anatomy. The bases of your breasts cannot be moved. However, lower profile implants, which are wider, can be used to help decrease the gap. If you have donor fat, it can also be added medically to help close the gap.

Answer: Breast gap after surgery Hello, technically it is possible for a surgeon to put any patient's implants close together on the chest, but if there is a pre-existing wide gap, this might lead to problems. If there is very little tissue covering the implants in the centre of the chest, there could be increased risk of seeing and feeling the implant folds through the skin. There are different techniques that may reduce these risks. Your surgeon will be the best source of advice about the ideal breast implant placement to meet your goals.
