Can Hyperpigmentation from CO2 laser be cured by another CO2 procedure?

This kind of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is a real risk, especially when a C02 laser is used on darker natural skin types. Sorry.
I have had very gratifying results treating hyperpigmentation problems, both melasma and PIH, using a protocol consisting of in-office applications of superficial peels (such as high concentrations glycolic or salicylic acid; Jessner's Solution; or low concentrations of TCA) supplemented by the daily home use of Rx skin lightening topicals. I would suggest extreme caution if considering additional treatment with the CO3 laser.

Hyperpigmentation can result from improper use of CO2 laser, therefore exercising caution is first and foremost, especially considering your skin type from what I can see from the photos. First, I would go back to the provider who treated you, to alert them of the adverse effect you are experiencing. The provider should incorporate ingredients targeted toward decreasing pigment, with medical grade and prescription topical skincare. Then, a series of chemical peels would likely be advised.
