Hi! Thank you for your question regarding skin laxity, jowls, and the best treatment for those concerns. I believe you would get a great, tight and lifted result with Morpheus 8. I suggest 3 sessions of Morpheus 8, 4-6 weeks apart. I hope this helps!
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Evoke uses radiofrequency heat to tighten, tone, and lift the skin on the face. Morpheus 8 uses micro needling with heat to do the same thing, however, this treatment penetrates deeper and requires local anesthesia. In my clinical opinion and experience, combining forma and/or Evoke together achieves optimal results in patients with mild to moderate facial skin laxity.
Ultherapy is the only device FDA cleared to lift multiple levels of skin, including the deepest layer where plastic surgeons would operate during a face lift. Other devices will only tighten. The added visualization of ultrasound ensures that Ultherapy targets only collagen under the skin and...
Hi there! I can't speak to the efficacy of Evoke as I don't use it. As for Morpheus8, we often use this in our clinic. It helps to create tightening of the collagen and skin leading to a more youthful appearance. Now, it is not the same as a surgical result, but it does work well. The downtime...
RF treatments work by generating heat and, as such, may engender inflammation that could potentially worsen melasma or other brown spots. There are a number of other time honored and time-tested treatments for melasma that you may wish to consider. These include the at-home use of topical,...
