Cosmelan: This is a topical depigmentation treatment that works by inhibiting the production of melanin in the skin. It can be used to lighten the areolas gradually over time. It’s a great option if you prefer a non-invasive, at-home treatment, with results typically visible after a few weeks of consistent use.PicoSure Laser: PicoSure is a laser treatment that targets pigmentation with short bursts of laser energy, breaking down dark pigment in the skin. It’s highly effective for treating hyperpigmentation, including in delicate areas like the areolas. The procedure is minimally invasive with little to no downtime, but multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.
