Stong jaw, weak chin. Getting filler into chin. Will it affect my strong jaw?

I have a square face so my jaw line is strong, however, i have a weak chin. I am getting a dermal filler injected into my chin and some BOTOX to relax my chin muscles. I am worried that if i get a chin filler that my jaw line wont be as strong. Is this going to happen?

This area can be dramatically improved with fillers if done by someone very well trained and who is meticulous.  I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist who specializes in facial contouring to assess and treat you.  Best, Dr. Emer.

No, a filler to augment the chin should not have a detrimental effect on the jawline.  I use chin implants and fillers frequently to project the chin forward to better balance the lower half of the face.
