It depends on where the calcium deposits are whether they could be found and removed or wether they should be followed with mammogram.  If you want smaller implants but no lift, that is your choice, especially in order to,avoid the scars of a lift.  Ideally, however, you should have your breast lifts and I,pants replaced with smaller ones or go with no implants at all.

Only IN PERSON examination and review of your mammograms or MRI's can determine if your request can be safely done. Best to see IN PERSON a boarded PSs in your city. 

How were these calcium deposits identified?  I assume my mammography or another breast study. Is it recommended to have them biopsied?  More information is warranted.

If the “calcium deposits” are associated with a thickened breast implant capsule, then removal of the breast implant capsule may suffice. If, on the other hand, the deposits are located in native breast tissue then removal during breast surgery is not likely.  Presumably you have had a mammogram which demonstrates these deposits and have ruled out malignancy.

You can have your presumed calcified capsules removed through your current incision if it is long enough.  If you have saline implants, consider intentionally deflating your implants (it will void your warranty) and see how your breasts will look and if you will be okay with that.  Otherwise photos would help the gallery of doctors tremendously.

There are several reasons for having calcium deposits in the breast.  I would be necessary to see your mammogram to tell if this a speckled pattern that may require a biopsy vs a calcification of an implant capsule.  If it is a calcified capsule then your surgery can be performed through the same incision used to place the implant originally.  Older implants, made prior to 1999 could actually leak silicone oil through an intact bag.  This was termed silicone gel bleed.  This is one of the causes of a calcified capsule.   If this calcification is a suspicious area on a mammogram then referral to a general surgeon or breast surgeon is indicated.   

I am not sure what you mean by calcium deposits. If you mean in the capsule around the implant, the answer is probably yes, unless your areola is too small to provide access and visualization for your surgeon. If these are calcifications unrelated to the implants (such as mammographic finding), probably not. 

Without more info and photos it is not possible to guess whether a lift would be recommended with the amount of downsizing you are considering. Discuss with your surgeon.

The key here is to know where the calcium is located.  If it is in the capsule surrounding your implants, then a capsulectomy and replacement of implants is indicated.  Smaller is fine.  If however the calcium is a mammogram finding and the deposits are located in the body of your breast tissue, this needs to be evaluated by your regular medical team and the deposits evaluated.  In that case, you should probably have the deposits evaluated and deal with your implant concerns later.
