Sudden appearance of Multiple creases and on Eyelid. (photos)

Question

I had been rubbing my eyes excessively due to severe allergies and one morning I woke up with multiple creases forming on my eyelid. I applied ointment and cream but nothing seems to work. Pls HELP

Hi Rukia,
Multiple creases certainly occur with aging.  That being said, if you truly feel that they appeared suddenly while suffering severe allergies, control of the allergies should help somewhat.  Perhaps consider an oral antihistamine and topical diphenhydramine to the area.  There are also eye drops for allergies that will help keep you from rubbing your eyes.
Of course, in-person professional evaluation and treatment is advised, especially as this is of great concern to you.

Thank you for your photos. Allergies can wreak havoc on the eyelid skin. If allergies are controlled early and you avoid excessive rubbing or manipulation of the skin, the eyelid skin will usually return to their natural appearance. Eyelids which have undergone chronic inflammation from allergies, infection, disease, or other problems may require surgery to remove extra or damaged skin to restore their appearance AFTER the source of inflammation is resolved.
