How can the purple patch on both sides of my nose be treated? (Photo)

On both side of my nose I have like a purplish spot. It almost looks like a bruise but I’m certain it’s something else as I’ve had this for years. What are the causes of that and how can it be treated?

Good morning and thank you for your question! It appears as though your problem is more vascular, which can be corrected with a series IPL treatments. However, when treating vessels around the nostrils and on the nose they are likely to reappear with time and will most likely need to be treated again. Best of luck! Thanks for your question and posting a picture.  It looks and sounds like it is a vascular issue.  After a complete consultation in a medical setting, they would probably recommend a couple of simple IPL PhotoFacial treatments.  A Pulse Dye Laser like the Cutera ExcelV would be a bigger hammer with more downtime.  One of these 2 options should resolve your mystery spots.  I hope this helps.
