Will intramuscular butt implant improve my situation or it will sag more with time? (photos)

Buttock “sagging” is usually a combination of loss of volume or deflation (after weight loss or post-BBL) and/or the effect of aging and gravity. So, I personally first treat patients like you by restoring volume to the buttock with an intramuscular buttock implant. This will create a more desirable smooth and rounded perky buttock profile. And no, properly placed intramuscular buttock implants typically do not sag with time (much less so than breast implants). If not adding volume with an implant, the buttock will be shortened but may appear more flat with a surgical buttock lift from above. If necessary or beneficial, a lower buttock tuck is usually then performed at six months following implants. In this sequence, the implants have fully settled into final position so that any remaining loose skin can be most accurately identified and removed with the lower buttock tuck. Please note, because an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants, you may have to travel away from your local area to seek consultation with this particular type of surgeon. Loose skin is loose skin and the best treatment options are always aimed at treating the primary problem.

People can have loose skin because of the loss of elasticity due to age or because of volume changes such as weight loss. obviously it can be a combination. skin varies from person to person based on genetic make up to some degree as well.

Filling up the envelope helps to some degree but in the end if someone has a skin condition they need a skin solution.

Unfortunately the only thing that really works is direct excision and this leaves scars.

Going through a gluteal augmentation for the purpose of dealing with skin laxity doesn’t make sense in my opinion. Gluteal augmentation with implants is a complex procedure that has a fairly high complication rate including complications with implant failure.
