I just had 8 crowns cemented in last week. I noticed that it already looked stained. I wondering if my dentist have missed a step before cementing it in. Is this common? I have done some research and porcelian are supposed to be more resistain to staining then other material. I have an appointment with my dentist and she said will remove the stains by polishing them. I'm worried that it will be temporary and have to keep polishing quite frequently. What ate my options?

I agree with the other dentists that have answered. I think it is simply normal healing from the trauma of the work and it should heal uneventfully. Warm salt water rinses can help alleviate some of the discomfort. If it continues I would call the dentist.
Hi, Brian. I am sorry you are dissatisfied with your new crowns. Emax crowns are very esthetic crowns. Unfortunately you cannot change the shade of the crowns once they have been cemented. You might want to check with your dentist and voice your concerns. Most dentists want you happy...
