What can be causing this weird feeling when I press down or chew with a new crown?

I had a root canal on my molar and a porcelain metal crown. The crown feels weird if I press it with my tongue, like a pressure sensitivity. I am also unable to chew on that side as it feels too high. I am not feeling like it is too tight between the other teeth. I'm not sure how to explain the feeling but it's incredibly irritating.
