Is using clindamycin & tretinoin gel 0.025% with laser hair removal safe?

Hi. I was just wondering if getting laser hair removal while using a topical clindamycin and tretinoin gel for acne is safe? If I use the gel on my face one a day, can I still get laser hair removal on my face, or other parts of the body? Thanks

While using topical clindamycin and tretinoin gel you will want to avoid any type of laser treatments to your face. Areas where you are not applying these topicals are sage to treat.

Hi there! Prior to any laser hair removal treatment, you want to make sure you discontinue clindamycin and tretinoin a minimum of 1 week before the procedure. Tretinoin in particular can cause the skin to be extra sensitive to heat and light based treatments and can cause hyperpigmentation if not discontinued prior to the procedure. I hope this helps :)
