If the DAO muscles are not injected properly, other muscles that help movement in the lips may be affected and cause the issue you have described. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the effects of Botox and you will have to wait till it wears off in 3-6 months. I hope this helps.

Although rare when the DOA's are not injected properly, other muscles implicated in lips movements may be affected and cause the issue you are describing. Botox last on average 3 to 4 months. Sorry to hear of your issue. I would not typically inject Botox into the lower face muscles for anyone who depends on these muscles for work or activity such as playing the flute. However as long as the amount injected was not more than a few units, it should wear off in the first 6-10 weeks. I would also recommend that you increase the usage of these muscles by moving and exercising them to assist in the process. Best wishes,

injection of Botox to the lower face typically wear off after 6 weeks . If The DAO muscles are not injected correctly and  the depressor labii inferior muscles are inadvertently injected it can cause depression of the lower lip. Repetitive movement/exercise and time are the only solutions , hopefully the dosage injected was only a few units
