It’s almost time to take my stitches out my forehead in 2 days and I’m scared because my head is still sore. I want to wait longer can I?

A punch biopsy is an accepted method of removing a lesion.  However it can leave a white scar that is sometimes depressed or irregular.  You may want to have it revised once the healing is complete, usually after 3-6 months,

I recommend following up with your Doctor about your results and concerns.  Moles can be removed with laser, radiowave or shave. I recommend Silagen + Bioshield for 6 weeks after removal to improve healing. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
