Recessed jaw and chin - Can fillers fix my profile? (photos)

I think the main problem with my profile is the recessed jaw and chin. If this is correct, could fillers or implants help?

Thank you for your question and photos. Chin augmentation via injectable dermal fillers is an excellent option for improving the appearance of a weak or recessed chin. Some patients may also find a combination of dermal fillers and collagen stimulators, such as Sculptra, adds volume to the chin and increases its projection while making the jawline appear more defined.

Given your young age, you may wish to consider a long-term option such as a mandibular advancement or chin implant. Fillers can be tried first if you'd like to "dip your toes in" and give you an idea as to what you make look like.
Before considering permanent changes, make sure that your bite/dentition is normal and doesn't require any orthognathic work. See a dentist and/or oral surgeon. 
If everything is okay from that standpoint, consult with an experienced surgeon to give you the pros and cons of mandibular advancement vs chin implant.

An implant or chin fillers would help address your concern.  Fillers would be a great place to begin because you can go slowly and build up to a look you want.  HA fillers can also be dissolved if you are unhappy with the result.  See an experienced injector near you to learn more.

Hello. Thanks for sharing your case. There are 2 options of treatments in your case. Dermal fillers are the easiest way to achieve your aesthetic goal, there are several fillers working perfectly in those areas. I will use Juvederm Volux or Teoxane Ultra deep & RHA4 multilayering technique to have the most natural results. There are other option of fillers called collagen stimulation fillers such as Radiesse that actually works perfectly as reshaping option and also helps producing collagen in the skin to create some tightening effect. Those gives you immediate results with minimum after care. Last 1 to 1 1/2 years.

If your option is to have only one procedure, going thru recovery time, dealing with a scar, more investment, and more downtime then the option will be a chin implant. That will last forever.

Dont forget to set a plan with your aesthetic physician or your facial plastic surgeon to achieve your goals.
