Thank you for sharing your photo, it was very helpful. Everything appears to be healing appropriately, with some bruising which would be expected. I would keep in close contact with your surgeon during your recovery.Best wishes,Dr. Jan
Congratulations on your surgery. The area of bruising appears to be normal and very common after surgery. Good circulation is what will help the bruising subside and disappear. I encourage walking for circulation (not exercise), eating well with lots of protein, and fluids. Arnica taken orally or topically can help as well. Good luck.
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photo, you still appear to be early on in your recovery following breast lift and augmentation surgery. As with swelling and tenderness, bruising is a normal and expected part of the recovery process. Your bruising does not appear to be any cause for concern and should improve dramatically over the coming weeks. If your bruising does not show any signs of healing, contact your plastic surgeon for an evaluation. If you have any additional questions or concerns about your results, schedule a follow-up appointment with your surgeon. Hope this helps!
Dear Sincere4219,bruising can occur after a surgery and in most cases it is not a concern. I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Dear Sincere4219, Thank you for your question. The bruising in your picture appears to be within normal limits at this time. However, if you are having concerns I suggest following up with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best of luck to you!
Some bruising is normal after surgery. You don't say when you had surgery, but your bruising doesn't look abnormal. Be sure to follow your surgeon's post operative instructions and report any concerns you have. Good luck.
You are still early in the healing process and what you are seeing are not your final results yet. You are most probably still experiencing swelling and tissue tightness, which may cause temporary asymmetry. Bruising is normal at this point in time and these will resolve on their own as your body heals. Your implants will still settle into the pockets made by your surgeon in the coming months. The best course of action would be to wait for at least 6 months to conclude your results.
From the photo attached it appears this is normal bruising. If you have concerns I would follow up with your board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for the question and the picture. The area of bruising looks to be normal bruising. The incisions look like they are healing well. I would keep a close eye on them and make sure you keep your follow ups with your surgeon to discuss any concerns you may have. Best of Luck.
Hello and thank you for your question and photo. Not sure how far you are out from surgery , but it looks normal and probably 1-3 weeks post op. Just keep an eye on your incisions and note any changes and let your PS know. Many of my patient's will send photo's on our secure email if any concerns.
Thank you for your question. This is hard to answer without an in person exam. I recommend scheduling an appointment with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon so you can find out what may be causing the heavy feeling.
Hi & thanks for your question! It is a good idea to have your implants checked every few years. Your surgeon will have his/her own protocol for how often they like to see patients for follow up appointments. Best wishes!
Thank you for your question. Each surgeon will have their own protocol they wish to follow with this type of issue. I would suggest to speak with your surgeon and follow their recommendations. Typically as long as your HCG levels are decreasing as expected and you have a letter stating the...
