I Got Brown Patch on my Forehead After Salicylic Acid / Lactic Acid Peel. What Should I Do?

You can apply aloe to reduce the burning sensation, and to calm the skin. It Is best not to use anything to try and make the skin peel faster. Do not use Benadryl peroxide. You can start the peptide serum while there is still redness as long as it has healed and there is no longer any burning.  

Thank you for your question. Stop applying any harsh products to the area, you do not want to cause any more exfoliation or drying of the area as this could lead to permanent damage. I recommend using something very hydrating such as an aquaphore and also make sure you are wearing sunscreen on your face during the day. The skin should slowly start to heal itself as it peels off but continue to be gentle with it until it is fully healed. Make sure you are not peeling off any of the dry skin, let it come of naturally. If you feel that it is serious enough I would recommend seeing your skin care provider for a consultation.
