I think my skin reacted badly to salicylic acid gel treatment. My skin looks irritated and red and there are rashes and blisters around my chin area. What would you recommend as a treatment?
I have always had blackheads on my nose - i have been consistently using salicylic acid 2% now for a year with very little improvement. Would be interested to know if there are other options I could use at home which might help.
My name is Fyu, 21 yrs of age, my height is 4'9 and weighs 44 kgs. I am an animal rescuer for years now, and I caught scabies months ago. I underwent chemical peel procedure, suggested by my dermatologist, however, my dark spots faded only a little. I order an 80% Salycilic peel online and tried it myself, now it has gotten worse. I don't know what to do anymore.
I had been using Clean and Clear dual action moisturizer on my face for a long while. When I would moisturize my face, it was applied everywhere, including under my eyes. I have noticed that my under eye area has more fine lines than ever before. Im in my 20s. Could the salicylic acid have anything to do with causing fine lines and wrinkles?
I applied 17% Salicylic acid wart remover on Pimples. It turned my skin into dark black burned spot. It looks like a superficial heat burn. How long will it take for it to heal and what products should I use on it to treat it?
I used a 2% salicylic acid pad several times and it burned badly. Now the skin inbetween my eyebrows has a redder pigmentation, but it's been like this for a month. Have I burned my skin? Up close it looks like some small patches may have peeled, or burned off, from when I originally applied the pads, but a new fresh layer of skin doesn't seem to be emerging. The area has not burned since the original incident, nor is it itchy or painful. Will it heal, or will the redness eventually go away?
The mixture was kept on my face for four minutes. I didn't experience any unusual discomfort during the procedure - just the tingling/burning sensations which subsided when washed off. It has now been roughly five hours since the peel, and my cheeks have really flared up & are bright red. I have a few questions:- - will the affected areas get worse before settling down? when can I wash my face? - when can I start applying moisturiser? once peeling begins, how frequently can i moisturise?
