Brow ptosis? What is going on? I regret the botox (Photo)

Question

back in october 2022, I had botox done to my forehead and the "11" lines i suppose. It startet good, i was happy! Everything seemed good. But I had to much frowning movement in the right brow. So i got an little adjustment for those "11" lines, and the day after the brow had fallen down. The reason I got botox is for preventing lines in the forehead and the tension between my eyes, due to headache problems. I dont use medication or brow serums. Now, a year after the brow is still down in 2024??

The effects of Botox are temporary, typically resolving gradually over three to four months.  If you have full movement of your brows then the Botox is wearing off.  See an expert injector near you for an evaluation.

Evaluation of your condition is limited with only two photos, however, your eyebrow position looks reasonable in both your before and after photo. You may have some congenital eyelid ptosis on both sides however. Your right eyelid may be a drop droopier than your left. Consider re-asking a question with additional photos or consult with an ophthalmologist or oculoplastic surgeon about your concerns. With certainty, the effects of Botox are completely temporary and do not lead to any lasting changes. That is based upon our 25-year experience. I hope this helps you. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Botox is tricky and does extremely well in experienced hands versus those who dabble in the treatment. That said your brow could be lifted again with another treatment of Botox, placing it in strategic locations to allow your brow to elevate. My advice to you is to seek out someone With extensive experience in the use of Botox and understand the dynamic relationship between the brow elevators, and the brow depressors.
