Question

As you can see on the pictures, my lower forehead is very prominent leaving a gap between my nose and forehead. Also my eye brows look too low for my age (I am 30 yo). Would you recommend a brow lift and maybe fillers on the top of my nose bridge or shaving down the forehead bone? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your question and sharing your photos. looking at the photos, I can see you have a very masculine brow ridge. This is a variation of normal anatomy and mainly due to the bones of your skull. I don't think brow lift and fillers would help. Shaving the bone on the other hand is a good option but i recommend to see a craniofacial plastic surgeon ideally the one that does facial feminisation surgery as they have the biggest experience in this specific procedure. i hope you find this explanation useful.

It is difficult to give an accurate assessment based on photos alone as symmetry may change from one angle to another. Eye asymmetry is natural as there is no such thing as a symmetrical face. If you are still, however, decided for a surgical option, it would be best to schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in-person examination and a detailed discussion of your surgical options.

As long as the fullness of the forehead immediately above your brows is secondary to thick bone this can be reduced with a procedure I call orbital bony contouring. A single x-rsy can be done to determine if you're a candidate for this procedure.

Dear Nanobar, In different ethnicities it is normal to see a more prominent brow/bone line.  When the brows drop a slight amount due to aging this becomes more apparent. Often times we perform browlift surgery and slightly lift the brows back to their pre-aging position and reduce the brow ridge at the same time to provide a more balanced profile.
