Can a brow lift make the eyebrows wider apart instead of just lifting them? (photos)

Question

I have close set eyebrows and my face is more on the narrow side, i photoshopped some pictures and noticed that making the eyebrows apart from eachother gave me my ideal face, without changing anything else in my face. Plucking my eyebrows inwards helped a tiny bit but I'm hoping a procedure like a brow lift would have a greater effect. Could it also make my forhead to appear wider? Itd make my face more balanced

Hello @corpsie, thank you for your question. Is important to keep in mind that a brow lift do not change the eyebrows' shape, but rather rejuvenate the appearance of the eye. When the skin is tightened in order to alter the shape of the eyebrow, the natural shape of the features can be altered and in the long run, asymmetries may develop as a result. Best wishes! Thank you for your question and for providing photos. Since brow lift procedures are generally reserved for those with heavy brows or furrowed lines on the forehead, this is unlikely the correct approach for you. You may appreciate the results that dermal fillers can provide when injected into specific areas of the face.

As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. Based on these photos, it appears that unilateral endoscopic brow lift would be option to consider. Beside lifting lower positioned brow, it will present oportunity to resect glabelar muscles, which will allow  eyebrows to move slightly appart. Hello, thank you for your question. The brow lift is great to help treat aging brow depression and opening up the eye. It can change the appearance of the brow slightly but wont be as drastic but can be indicated for your request. Speak to your Plastic Surgeon, for in person consultation.
