Regular botox user. As well as a series of microneedling and more recently a smart skin CO2. Plus quality skin care. Happy with my skin texture and overall but 11’s/ frown lines still static and there. Is the filler risk worth it in this area (the ocular occlusion thought is terrifying) but the sight of these lines bugs me so much. Is it worth the risk? Especially if I see an injector who feels confident treating the area
Answer: Fillers for the 11s: What you need to know first Thank you for your question. A combination of Botox, fillers, lasers, and microneedling may help address your concerns. But since it is a high-risk area, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with extensive experience with injectables. Your surgeon can do a proper evaluation of your skin and determine your eligibility for fillers in treating your 11s. It is imperative you only seek treatments from skilled, experienced, and highly qualified providers who can ensure the safest and best possible outcome.

Answer: Glabella This is a high risk area for filler, but only you can make the decision if the risk is worth it. Besides Botox you can consider other treatments such as Morpheus8 to address this area. Speak with an experienced injector about the risks and benefits of treatment.

Answer: Glabellar Lines / 11s / Frown Lines -- Neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/Jeuveau), Fillers, Lasers, Microneedling/PRP For deeper glabella lines or strong 11s, I use a combination of Botox with fillers, lasers and microneedling with PRP. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and expert in lasers and fillers. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Dermal Filler for 11's Correcting this area can be done but this is a very high risk area and you absolutely must see a professional who has experience injecting the glabella. Do your research and ask the provider if he or she has a plan in place to treat ocular occlusion should this rare emergency happen. I use Belotero to fill this area but I have over 20 years of experience injecting. Once this area is corrected with filler, you should stay regimented in treating the brow with Botox every 3-4 months in order to prevent the frown line from returning. Please make sure to choose an experienced board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who specializes in dermal filler!

Answer: Filler in frown lines Only you can decide if the risk of injection of fillers to this area is acceptable. Make this decision after discussing the risks/benefits with your provider. This is a very advanced area to inject. Make sure that your provider is experienced and skilled injecting this area and the office is equiped to handle any complications that may occur. In the hands of a skilled injector the risks are minimized. Most patients are very happy with the results.
