Hello and thank you for your question. For some, the glabellar muscle (muscles responsible for frowning) can build up from over-use and give this appearance. Botox can definitely help with your concerns. Botox is a purified protein injected right into the muscle which relaxes it and creates a smoother look. Botox can not only help smooth out the indentation, but can also prevent it from getting worse. Continued use of Botox (every 3 to 4 months) will improve the area even more.Fillers can also help to camouflage the divot, however I would suggest testing the benefits of Botox first, as there can be complications if fillers are improperly injected in that area. Please see an experienced injector specializing in aesthetics for best results! Best of luck!
This can be improved with Botox. Deeper indentations need a combination of Botox with fillers, lasers and microneedling/prp. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Indents at rest in the glabellar region of the forehead between the eyebrows are a common thing I treat with Botox. Not all patients derive enough benefit enough from Botox alone and can benefit from judicious filler as well but I urge my patients to be patient and allow the Botox to work before doing the filler. There are risks with all treatments and filler in the glabella carries a slightly greater risk of blood vessel compromise than many other facial areas so why risk this if there is a possibility it would not even be necessary.
This can be improved with Botox and/or filler. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results. Hope this helps.
It appears that the indentation is the result of muscle movement between the eyes. Botox would be a good option to reduce this indentation. If that does not resolve the indentation, then fillers can be used to improve the result. I recommend seeing a facial plastic surgeon who can review all your options.
I would recommend a combination treatment of Botox and filler, like Juvederm, to most effectively treat the area of concern on your forehead. The Botox will stop the muscle action that has caused the depression while the filler will help plump up the area.
Thank you for your question. Your specific concern will response nicely to a neuromodulator such as Botox or Xeomin as these will weaken the muscle contraction. If the neuromodulator does not completely relax the indentation, a little bit of Dermal Filler can be used to push up the indentation itself (fill it in). Start by seeing an injecting physician for a recommendation on best treatment combinations. Best Regards, Dr. Bector
Hi. As others have mentioned a combination of Botox and Filler will be your best option. Botox is a medication which can be used to relax the muscles between the brows that contract and create wrinkles. In addition filler such as Volbella can fill in the resting lines in that area immediately. You would want the combination as if you only did filler then the pressure from your muscle would move and metabolize the filler quickly so it is best to only treat with filler if you are also doing Botox. Best of luck with your treatment!
Your specific concerns between the eyebrows should respond nicely to treatment with a neuromodulator like Botox or Dysport.
Yes, we can smooth that out a bit by using combination of Botox and fillers. Botox to relax the muscles that contribute to those folds that created the “dent” and fillers if needed to smooth out that area. Of course an experienced provider will triple check to make sure that those bumps aren’t blood vessels.
