CoolSculpting vs Liposuction for inner thighs? (photo)

Question

I want a small amount of fat remove from my inner thighs. The area I went remove is where my thighs are touching. They rub together when I walk giving a rash, also I believe they will look nicer if slightly slimmer/straighter. I had a consultation for coolsculpting and was told it will be $1800 for one session. Or $450 for 4 applicators; they said 2 applicants are needed for each leg. They also said they can do lipo under local. Is this an average price in NY? Preferably I will like to spend no more than $1000.

The typical price for Coolsculpting is about $800 per cycle. The price goes down as you do more cycles. $1800 for 4 cycles is on the very low side. It is possible that you may get the results you want with the 4 cycles but be prepared to do another round because results from non-invasive treatments can be difficult to predict. If you have to do two rounds of 4 cycles, the price will be about what you would pay for liposuction. Whether you decide on CoolSculpting or liposuction, the skill of the doctor or technician will be the biggest factor in how your results turn out. If you budget is $1000, I would not recommend getting either CoolSculpting or Liposuction. If someone offers to do it for $1000 run away! You will most definitely regret doing it and you will have wasted $1000.

Although it is difficult to say without an in-person examination, if you have good skin elasticity, you should be a good candidate for liposuction. Liposuction works best on patients who are of relatively 
 average weight, but who need help with a problem area, or with shedding the ten pounds they regain between diets. First of all I don’t believe you’re being offered the real coolsculpting treatment because their treatment is considerably more expensive.  number two, in order to have significant reduction of fat through coolsculpting methodology an individual needs anywhere between four and six treatments which is even more expensive than the price of a well performed liposuction. At the same time you will not find a plastic surgeon chargeing $1000 for liposuction. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
