CoolSculpting can be effective at reducing isolated areas of unwanted fat, but it is not a treatment for weight loss. With your height and weight, I would recommend weight loss before having any CoolSculpting done. It is also possible that you would have some excess skin after fat reduction, and CoolSculpting would not treat this issue.
Thank you for sharing your photo! It is difficult to tell without personally evaluating you, but people who have especially slack skin in their midsection and abdominal muscle weakness need more than what diet and exercise alone can offer. A surgical correction with an abdominoplasty reduces fat, tightens the abdominal wall muscles and removes hanging skin. A non-surgical option is EMSCULPT – the only non-invasive procedure to help both women and men build muscle and sculpt their body. In addition to reducing fat of the abdomen and buttocks, EMSCULPT helps builds muscle to create a tighter, more defined look. It can also help improve diastasis recti, or the separation of the abdominal muscles from pregnancy. And with no downtime! I suggest making an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon for consultation to discuss your options.
Hello there. Yes CoolSculpting will work. CoolSculpting will remove 35 percent or so of the fat in the treated area each time it is treated. Maximum results are seen at 3 months after treatment. You can repeat treatments as often as every month. It is important to shape expectations before getting treatment. CoolSculpting is best used in combination with diet and exercise because it gets rid of the pinchable sub q fat only. Diet and exercise must be used to get rid of core fat.
Thank you for your question! CoolSculpting works on subcutaneous fat which is soft and squish and will not work on visceral fat which is much deeper and surrounds the organs. CoolSculpting will work for your lower abdomen but your upper abdomen appears to mainly be visceral fat which can only be reduced through nutrition and exercise. Hope this helps!
I would highly suggest you do not do coolsculpting . Your BMI is 33.9 which the treatment is indicated for BMI of 30 or lower . In addition you likely have a large component of visceral fat and clearly have skin laxity .. all these combined make you a poor candidate even with multiple treatments . I suggest you get a full evaluation from a board certified plastic surgeon that performs abdominal surgical procedures
Some areas of the body can be treated with different sized applicators when performing CoolSculpting. Sometimes, 2 smaller applicators may fit someone better than using 1 large one. CoolSculpting is individualized to each patient. The most important aspect of the treatment is to completely...
CoolSculpting is a noninvasive, nonsurgical procedure to remove areas of body fat by freezing the fat cells from specific parts of the body. There will be no effect to the effectivity of CoolSculpting if you take hydroxychloroquine, so it's okay to take it with the treatment. Always consult...
This needs liposuction and tummy tuck, non invasive approaches will not help you with the degree of loose skin you have at this point. my whole practice is doing lipoabdominoplasty, or at least liposuction with internal heating (which is not the gold standard for skin tightening with body...
