Many, if not most patients will require only one fat grafting procedure to get a good result. The degree of permanent fat "take" is , however, not entirely predictable . Depending on the percentage take and your overall expectations a second procedure could be required.

Touch up surgery is done when a patient is reasonably displeased with their surgical outcome and when the surgeon feels that a touch up,procedure will improve the patients outcome. Touch ups are neither the norm nor the rule. Good luck!
Most patient only have one fat transfer to the buttocks, after the initial post operative swelling has subsided (usually in the first 3 to 6 weeks) the majority of the remaining fat should survive and remain present indefinitely. Its too soon to think on another surgery. You are still with inflamtion. Your butt is going to turn better on a couple of months. Just be patience. Keep talking with your surgeon.
