When is it okay to cook and wash dishes after tummy tuck surgery?

I think some light activity in the Kitchen is the perfect amount of activity after a TT. I wouldn't bend over or reach high or lift anything heavier than 5 pounds. Your doctor should have given yo very specific written post operative instructions so please defer to those. 

Since you're 20 days postop I would expect that cooking and dishwashing should not present a problem for you after tummy tuck surgery.Of course I do not know your specific situation therefore you should consult your plastic surgeon for specific advice as to when you may engage in these physical activities after your tummy tuck.Generally speaking usually 2 weeks of recovery after a full tummy tuck is recommended before engaging in physical activity such as housekeeping cooking and other daily activities.  More extreme activities such as gym workouts should be delayed for 4-6 weeks.  NextHowever this all depends on your unique situation and requires specific advice from your plastic surgeon.
