The frontal photo provided certainly seems to indicate an asymmetry--with the lower left side of the face appearing somewhat more depressed and angling inward when compared to the lower right. (Parenthetically, total symmetry between the sides of our faces may be an ideal, but in my experience, upon closer examination, is seldom present in most of us.)That being said, the degree of difference between the two sides of the lower portion of the face in the photo seem rather evident and is likely due differences in the underlying bone structure and fat pads and perhaps even in the muscles in the region. The appropriate use of as injectable volumizing filler to the lower left cheek region would be helpful for balancing the volume and lateral projection on that side with that of the opposite side. Since the right posterior angle of the jaw region seems quite well defined, it would probably be helpful to also supply additional volume to the left side in that same region to create sharper definition to the angle. In my Upper East Side Manhattan office, I would opt for Voluma XC for the purposes above. In my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved volumizing fillers are available, I would choose Stylage XXL for the left lower cheek and Emervel Volume for the posterior angle area.Be sure to see a board certified aesthetic physician with expertise and experience in nonsurgical facial augmentation and rejuvenation with injectable fillers. And also be sure to ask to see his/her before and after photos. Good luck.
