I had an endoscopic brow lift 6 months ago. My forehead has changed a lot. I have many permanent dents and bumps. Why is that and how can it be fixed?
Answer: Dents after brow lift I would need to read your surgeons operative report to give you the most accurate assessment. However, if your surgeon cut or removed too much muscle from the corrugator complex (muscles that enable you to frown ), that would explain the dents in the glabella area (space between your brows). The upper forehead dents are probable due to soft tissue injury from the instruments used for the endoscopic brow lift. Fixing these problems is possible with facial micro fat grafting. Fat grafting involves harvesting fat with liposuction from another area of your body (usually tummy or thighs), processing the fat, and then injecting it in very small droplets to replace lost volume and correct contour deformities. It often takes more than 1 fat grafting surgery to achieve the highest quality result.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Lumps and irregularitis after endoscopic brow lift Most of "irregularities" visible on these photos are result of animation, what means you are moving your forehead muscles to demonstrate asymmetry. Some of these are result of over-resection of glabelar muscles (between the brows). One could consider placing small amount of fat grafts in that area to smoother and improve appearance. Botox may help with more lateral (side) muscle irregularities. Discussion with your surgeon and/or second opinion consultation is recommended. Good luck.
