It is impossible to make any conclusion regarding your question. Your daughter needs aesthetic rhinoplasty and you should concentrate on finding her a good surgeon. Good luck.
It is conceivable that forcep delivery could lead to a broad nasal appearance like your daughter has. Sometimes, however, these are simply genetic. Regardless of the ideology, if your daughter has severe dissatisfaction with her nasal appearance, please consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists who offer computer imaging so you can see what may be achieved. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question I recommend you to be examined by an ENT doctor and then plan for surgery. It would be better face to face consultation.Best regards!
Hi , It is better for you to consult with a facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and discuss the surgical procedure if indicated and the post op recovery process.
The nose is very wide at the bony base and most likely has been broken. I would recommend a rhinoplasty/septoplasty.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
On the picture, you’ve included there is a depression across the dorsum of the nose. Was this present her entire life starting at birth. If she developed a nasal fracture from the delivery, then she should’ve been born bleeding and had a bruise during her first week of life. Obstetrical forceps injury seems unlikely, but is theoretically possible. I suggest you have a few in person consultations with plastic surgeons in your community to help you make an assessment.Best,Mats hagstrom MD
