This area can be dramatically improved with fillers if done by someone very well trained and who is meticulous.  I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist who specializes in facial contouring to assess and treat you.  Best, Dr. Emer.

There is a lot that can be done to give you a more masculine face and improved jaw/chin.  I suggest a formal consultation with a facial contouring specialist who is an expert at filler injections and uses cannulas to prevent bruising and swelling.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Had bellafill today on pitted chin...very swollen and chin poking out. When will I look normal? (Photo)

Thank you for your question. It's hard to tell from your photo. However, there is always a chance of bruising and minor swelling with any type of filler. This usually dissipates after a couple of weeks. We wish you the best!

It is hard to tell from your photo what can be done, but fillers like Radiesse and Sculptra work great on the chin.  If you want something more permanent, Artefill can be performed safely as well, with the proper injector.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question. I often use fillers to augment the chin when a patient doesn't want to undergo surgery for a chin implant. Both Radiesse and Voluma are good choices for this area, with results that can last up to two years or even longer in some cases. The quantity will depend on...

The degree of your microgenia (lack of chin projection) would require a lot of Radiesse which is only a temporary fix so I would not recommend it. You would do better with a chin implant if you want a simple fix. When Radiesse is injected properly it should not cause your brow to fall.
