Although many people start to peel after two days some people take a little longer depending on the depth, strength and type of peel. Follow all the instructions given to you by your practitioner. The peel is a wounding process and the reaction will vary. Expect a week or one of healing with gentle after care .Typically a gentle cleanser followed by an emollient. Bromelain orally is a good way to decrease swelling and decrease inflammation after a peel or any cosmetic procedure.
