How can I get remove a scar that was caused by a laser treatment above my lips?

I went to get acne lasers treatment to a well known doctor in Florida to get acne scars removed; unfortunately his assistant did it but left me a visible cut on top of my lips . He told me it will go away but it didn't . I talked to the doctor and he offered Botox . I want something more natural . I'm getting microkneedling but I see not improvement
