What to do about the dark swollen mark on my stomach after CoolSculpting? (photos)

This is the 2nd time had this done. 1st time, no side effects nothing. 6 weeks later i had my 2nd appointment. The size of the attachment of the machine was smaller then my first time. She said that it would work better for the small stomach area. After the appointment, I got one heavy and swolen purple red mark. It stings and hurts.. i dont know what to do.. the first day it was a little bit red but it is gettin worse and worse and darker, instead of better. I Had it done this friday

CoolSculpting is a cosmetic treatment and not a medical necessity, therefore insurance will not cover it. However, you might be able to get financing through a company such as Care Credit. Be sure to consult with a certified CoolSculpting provider. Good luck.

Hello and thank you for your question. Taking Pepto-bismol after your Coolsculpting treatment will not have an effect on the results. If you are experiencing any pain, nausea, or diarrhea I would recommend consulting a Physician. Best of luck to you!
