Is it okay to get IPL done every 2 weeks for broken capillaries?

The broken capillaries are around my nose and on my cheeks from a mini facelift a couple of years ago.

The best treatments are vascular lasers such as pulsed dye laser and Excel V.  IPL is good in the right hands, but has more risk of complications and doesn't last as long in my opinion.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Yes, IPL is a very good treatment for broken capillaries, and will most likely have to be done 3-5 times every 2 weeks.It is important to keep in mind that there are more effective treatments available for broken capillaries. Great question! We usually do IPL every 3-4 weeks and find this regimen gives great results. IPL is best in fairer skin types and is enormously brand and operator dependent. BBL is the best, most powerful and safest system, and be sure that you are working with an experienced laser provider.

IPL works very well for broken capillaries, redness, pigmentation. Usually the sessions are done every three weeks because it takes time for the skin to heal and correct problems. In my opinion getting the treatments closer to each other will not provide better results.
