My skin looks swollen, doesn’t hurt to the touch tho, sensitive, and there is increased redness in my cheeks were the rosacea is most. it’s just a bit more Is it just do to swelling ?

Answer: Swelling after IPL Thanks for your question. I have seen this happen before, particularly in cases of rosacea. The light is heavily absorbed in the tissues which causes some mild inflammation and swelling. The more target there is for the light, the stronger the reaction will be. It should go away in a couple of days. To try to make it go away faster, you can sleep with your head elevated. Definitely nothing to worry about. Good luck!
