I suggest a combination approach for improvement in your skin. IPL single treatment will give you some improvement in redness and browns but will need to be repeated every 2-3 months to keep up, and it doesn't produce collagen so long term you need combination approach with Cosmelan and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. I suggest you follow up with your provider. Always see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist. Best of luck.
Thanks for your post and photos. Due your complexion, we would not recommend IPL. The last thing you want from a laser treatment is to increase hyperpigmentation. My recommendation for you is to find a trusted doctor with a Pico laser, which is safe for all skin tones and decreases hyperpigmentation. From there they will create a treatment plan which is best tailor to you.Best of LuckAnil Shah MD
Hello Uri_Muri,From looking at your photos you wouldn't be an ideal candidate for an IPL treatment. Microneedling and lighting cream would work great for your skin type. Obaji carries a great lighting cream. In combo with the lighting cream and using Tretinoin will help exfoliate and lighten up dark pigment. I hope you reach your desire results over time. Good luck!
IPL photofacial is to help brown spots, broken capillaries, and acne. We use a M22 IPL laser at our Medical Spa, which has a specific setting customized for acne. It works very well for active breakouts and improves hyper pigmentation of acne scars.
Thanks for your question and posting pictures. Based on your apparent skin type, we probably would not suggest IPL PhotoFacial treatments. IPL is only safe for skin types I-III. You appear to be a borderline III-IV. We would rather be safe than sorry. You seem to be having continuing acne problems that may need to be addressed separately. We have found that the energy from laser treatments will help clear active acne. Based on your skin type, we would probably recommend a series of PicoSure FOCUS treatments. It is safe for all skin types and FDA approved for the treatment of hyperpigmentation & acne scars. Best of luck.
Juvederm Volite is currently unavailable in U.S. market. However, a popular alternative is Belotero. Belotero is used for fine lines and is used like volite for both plumping and rejuvenating the skin. Much like restylane skin boosters available outside the us.
