Can I get super small again? Congratulations on recently having a baby! I have reviewed your photographs and your desire to have smaller breast. I really don’t think you need that surgery and I believe your breasts look fine just the way they are now. However, if you do wish to reduce them then you can consider having some Liposuction or perhaps even a breast left with a small amount to breast tissue been removed. The amount of Breast removed would be so small it would not be considered a true breast reduction and insurance will likely not cover it. This would be considered a cosmetic surgery in nature And you can carefully consider whether it’s going to be worth the money to do that operation!
You may benefit from liposuction with perhaps a skin excision. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified, Double Fellowship-Trained Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon
Dear nadialabella, you might be a candidate for a surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
You can have a breast reduction. There are different techniques when performing this surgery. I utilize the Halpern breast marker, which I invented. I also incorporate the FINNESSE technique, which I invented. Post operative pain and recovery are minimal versus traditional techniques. In addition, I suture the patients myself from the inside outside. I hope you find this information useful. Please watch the enclosed video.
that bothers you most? If is asymmetry, have a lift/reduction of your larger side would do the trick. If nipples are level, then liposuction may be enough to get the reduction you want. If nipple is lower or larger, a lift would do it for you. If you want both smaller, it can certainly be done but you must know how your surgeon plans to get your result and you must be okay with whatever scars it may result in.
This is certainly possible and should be achievable through a limited scar approach - just around the areola or possibly even just liposuction. That assessment would need a physical examination, particularly assessing skin elasticity, but you seem like a great candidate for this.
Yes, there is no reason why you could not achieve your goals with breast reduction surgery. As you know, the operation will serve to decrease your breast size and improve breast symmetry as well.My best advice: select your plastic surgeon carefully. Make sure that he/she has significant experience achieving the types of outcomes you will be pleased with. Then, communicate your goals carefully, as well. In my practice, this is best done with the help of goal photographs and computer imaging. Also, make sure that you consider the downsides associated with breast reduction surgery, including the presence of scars, as you make your decisions. Working together you will come up with a good plan to achieve your goals. Best wishes.
Yes, you can have a breast reduction to get smaller breasts and better symmetry. Just be sure you understand the tradeoffs of scarring, possible sensory changes and possible disturbance of the abiity to breast feed.
For sure, both skin and breast tissue can be removed in a revision surgery. If the nipple position is okay, then taking skin and breast as a wedge using the same vertical scar would be possible. It's likely that this would correct any lower pole heaviness and give a better shape.
There are no injections to reduce breast size. Liposuction can be used to shrink breasts but this is likely to be at the expense of breast shape, leading to empty, loose and saggy looking breasts. The best way to safely and reliably reduce your breast size is with a breast reduction.
Hi and welcome to our forum! The operative procedure of breast reduction involves separation of the skin and soft tissues of the breast from underlying breast tissue, with removal of segments of excess skin and breast tissue. The skin and soft tissue is then advanced downward and the...
