3 weeks ago I underwent breast augmentation will my incision move into the crease? Also i feel very depressed. I do not regret my decision but all this time off got me down is that common this late in the surgery?

Thirty years ago, my professor, Jerry Adamson used to teach that the scar should be in exactly this location so that in a bikini you will feel free to raise your arms while you are in a lounge chair and not fear exposure of the scar. Don't worry. Be happy

The inframammary incision from a breast augmentation should usually sit just above the crease. This is the least noticable position allowing you to wear a bikini top without fear of the incision showing. As for the postop "blues," these are common. Having an open discussion with your plastic surgeon is recommended.

It is probably not going to move more into the crease, but the scar looks really nice already. The placement is right where it should be. Keep in mind that scars can mature up to 2 years, give it time it might fade away completely.

Yours would be considered ideal, just above the fold.  It isn't see in a standing position and it won't be irritated from your garments.  As for your depression, you should see your doctor about this or mention it to your surgeon as most people are delighted at this point in their recovery.

The location of your incision seems perfectly reasonable.  Putting it exactly in the fold may cause irritation along the underwire of your bra.

The ideal location for the inframammary incision is in the crease.  Often it can ride up which is better than drifting down.  To secure the incision in the inframammary crease I usually use a fold suture.  This helps set the crease and helps to prevent bottoming out of the breast implant.  If you are depressed then discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

These questions are better discussed with your surgeon who knows you, knows what was done, and who has followed your recovery.The incisions will probably remain where it is, and it is quite usual for it to be above the crease.  It may have started at or below the crease, but the large implant will lift up skin from below.  Surgeons would rather see the incision along the lower edge of the breast than on the abdominal wall where it would show in two piece swim suits.Depression is not uncommon, but should not be ignored. Do speak with your surgeon.All the best.
