Break out on Chest After Breast Implants?

I see this commonly.  I suggest a topical pimple cream and it goes away gradually.  Don't pick or squeeze!

Thank you for your question. This is common. I would recommend a gentle pimple cream to be applied topically.

It it not likely that this was caused by the breast implants themselves. There could be a number of reasons for your breakout. I would suggest speaking with your surgeon about this or consulting with a dermatologist to see what options are available to you.

It is pretty unlikely for silicone implants to cause an outbreak on your chest. I recommend that you schedule a follow appointment with your plastic surgeon for further examination.

Silicone implants do not cause cutaneous eruptions over the chest wall. This should be investigated by your surgeon who may refer you to dermatologist.

It is unlikely that your break out is due to the implants themselves.  This could be contact dermatitis or some other type of dermatologic eruption.  You should be seen by a dermatologist if your plastic surgeon can not help you with this problem.  

Almost zero chance it's from the implants, there is no known association. What about anything new you are in contact with, new fabric, detergent, lotion or even heat/sweat from a new workout program? Dermatologists would be most adept at helping you with this one! Ask your surgeon for a referral.
